Top notch build quality
The fit & finish of this upper is the best of any I've yet purchased, across six barreled uppers from various manufacturers. Upper came perfectly gassed for standard carbine buffer weight and spring. Patterned at 4:00 consistently with zero malfunctions between GGG Lithuanian M193, IMI M855, and even Wolf steel case .223 ammunition (this patterned closer to 4:30, loaded less hot than 5.56 NATO). With GGG and IMI ball, the upper was able to group about 2 MOA 5 shot groups at 100 yards. I'm certain it will be capable of better with match grade ammunition. Obviously more expensive than a typical PSA or BCA or other budget-minded upper, but once you have it in your hands and shoot it, you'll know where that extra money went. This thing is the business. Will highly recommend SLR Custom Builds to others looking for an AR complete upper or complete rifle that's built right the first time.
